Welcome to the team and back to veganism! I've been a vegetarian for 14 years and agree that having meat eaters around could be a wonderful excuse to lose your focus! My husband and I cook similar meals each night - side by side - one with meat, one with out. I'm sure it would be easier to give in and not put the extra effort in - but I know it's what is best for me!

How old are you kids? Would they be interested in at least trying some awesome vegan meals and learning more about what you're doing?

Hi everyone! I'm happy to be here.... I'm not completely New to the vegan way of eating, but am completely new to the idea of actually sticking to my commitment To be healthy, for good! ! I'm 44, married, have 5 kids, and a lot of responsibility. I'm 50lbs overweight, stressed, tired..blah, blah, blah. The last time I remember feeling energetic, lean and amazing I was following a vegan way of eating! I want it back!!!! And this time, I'm ready to ditch the excuses, and commit to a cruelty free and healthy way of eating, and being, for life! My hubby and kids are meat and dairy lovers..and I allowed that to become an excuse to go back to what was easy. I know now that this isn't going to be easy, but for all our sakes, I need to do this! Hope being here helps!
