Be kind to yourself -- might be time for some new workout shoes (in a bright color!) or music or a massage. You have a strong, amazing body that will help you get through this.

Divorce, like any change, is hard. Been there, done that. Find something that motivates you. Search your heart and look for something good to think about each day. Even the smallest positive is a big help.

What are your reasons for change other than your children? Find that and that will motivate you.

The only super powers I want are Kindness, Gentleness, Patience and Peace of Mind.

JANEGRACIEN-- One day at a time. Divorce sucks. The first step is you wanting something more for yourself. Start with baby steps. If it's food, try cutting oil, sugar or salt or going unprocessed. Eating whole foods will give you more energy vs junk or processed foods. Plus you have to get out of bed to wash, cut and cook it.

If it's to get out of bed, set a goal daily of something you need to get dressed for. Getting the mail, going to the grocery, walking the dog. Best to train it early.

Possibly check in with your doc about depression or visit a counselor. One day at a time.

Hi, I'm 43, divorced, mom of two kids (7,9) and one new puppy. I'm vegan, depressed and very much in love with my bed. I want to be healthier so I've got to spend less time with my bed and more time walking my new puppy but motivation and energy are greatly lacking.
