Oh yea. Post them to the database after you click on "my recipe is different". They usually give a list of recipes that are similar to what you put in. By posting them to the database, we can sample them too. emoticon

I don't use a meal plan.

You can switch off the meal plan by selecting "no meal plan" or something similar to that. Then just put in what you do eat.

You can enter your own recipes in the recipe database and when you select that one for a meal make sure to click on the "add to favorites" under the meal choice. You will have it stored under the "favorites" tab and be able to re-use the food/recipe again another day.

There are a lot of vegan foods you can find under the "search" tab. I use Nate's Italian or Trader Joe's vegan meatballs sometimes and found them both under the search. It even had my mayo replacement that is vegan, Wildwood Zesty Garlic Aioli.

Hope these suggestions help.

There is a vegan ecookbook here on Spark compiled by members of this team and my team. It is available for a couple of dollars. I enter my own food in the tracker as well. There are lots of vegan entrees already listed by members. Create two weeks of your favourite vegan meals under "Groupings" on your tracker and make your own plan. Lindsay Nixon (The Happy Herbivore" has a meal plan for $7.00 a week which is very good. Has grocery lists and calorie counts and you do most of the cooking for the week on Sunday afternoon or whenever it's convenient and people lose weight on it. I bought if for a week to try out and I found that it was more food than I could eat.

Unfortunately you can not change to a vegan meal plan.... we have been asking for years... they will not do it for us... :(. ( I think it is because they have dairy sponsors.) So you can choose a vegetarian plan and use non dairy milk, yogurt and cheeses or you can not use a meal plan... which is what I ended up doing when I was still tracking.

You can change the tracker to lower your protein count to a more appropriate number. You can change every nutrient to any number you wish.

I haven't used the tracker in a while so I cannot answer any more of your questions... sorry.

Hi, everyone!

I am brand new to the Sparks program, and did not know if anyone had any suggestions as to how to change the menu to a vegan diet plan? Many items like cheese and dairy, and meats are not what I eat. Add to that needing a gluten-free diet adds another level of diligence to what I can eat. Also, I don't really want to go over 45- 60 Grams of protein daily.

Do I just make myself a new meal plan on a daily basis? I can't change the posted menu at all, or can I?
