Ha, great nick! emoticon
Good luck with the weight loss. I'm not too stressed about protein as I believe the recommended daily allowances generally cited for western countries have been artificially inflated as a sop to various agricultural lobbies. One excellent aspect of the food tracking facility on this site is that it shows your carb/protein/fat balance and you can see how it looks.

I'm a vegetarian from CT looking to get healthy. I recently slid back into vegetarian from being vegan for 2 years due to stress from a family member's illness, lack of time, and sheer laziness on my part. I'm attempting to move back into veganism by planning my meals better. I had a few slip-ups at friend's houses :(

I need to lose a little weight (maybe 15lbs), and I'd like to be more mindful of my protein / carb / fat / vitamin intake. I gained 15lbs a few years ago, and I haven't lost one bit of it since going vegan 2 years ago. I don't have much time to be active.

I tend to be a carb junkie and ignore my protein. This wasn't a problem when I ate meat, but it's a problem now. I need to be really conscious of getting enough or I'll find myself living on bagels! Ahh!

Is anyone interested in being my friend and swapping healthy recipes? I'm a full-time law student, so easy stuff is a plus! I've also been dabbling in raw food lately, so any raw food recipes and advice would be awesome. I'm not looking to be 100% raw, but having a few tasty raw lunch or dinner recipes at my disposal would be cool. I've started making green smoothies in the morning, so that should cover breakfast. It's just hard to eat raw when it's 30 degrees outside :(

Bye!
