LoL no one knows what it is :) The plan had been residency and then clinical work (working in Radiation Oncology) but I'm looking at options in industry instead at the moment. Don't know exactly what I'll be doing next!

Thanks! My degrees are in Applied Optics and Medical Physics (I had a change of goals there but both physics). Next up, job or residency!

Welcome, and congratulations on graduation!! What are your degrees in?

Yeah, the Tastes Good is my biggest issue... I love healthy foods, but I also love unhealthy foods a bit too much ;-)

Hey everyone! I've been a member of SP for almost 6 years now. When I first started out, I had the time, energy, and motivation to lose 50lbs. I managed to maintain for about a year also. Then I was faced with losing my job and I decided to go back to graduate school.

4 years and 2 Master's degrees later, the weight crept back on and I'm 2 pounds heavier than my previous all time high. I know what to do though, and when I graduate in 3 weeks, I'll have the time to commit to it!

For fitness, I love to run but I tend to over-train and get hurt. I also am big into lifting also but I'm not afraid to do other things. I do kickboxing, zumba, mountain biking, whatever I am in the mood for. I try to eat a mostly-Paleo diet for health reasons but I am not 100% with that. I always struggle with the "what is good for me" verses "what tastes good". Also, a lack of time to cook has been a struggle while in school.

I never left SP since I joined and blog regularly but I did get a little sidetracked. I stopped tracking my food and fitness so much because there was just not enough time or energy to go around. Now, I'm ready to come back and get this weight off again!
