emoticon This is a great site to learn about nutrition and fitness, and to make friends! There are many teams to join that have the same interests as you if you look around:)
Check out Classy Quitters. It is for people who smoke, have quit, or are thinking or trying to quit. I think you might like it:)

I am a smoker too, and have tried many times to quit, only to start up again. you will find support and encouragement there!
Good luck and God bless!

2015 is the year that I want to stop recovering and start living again!

Aug. 9th, I will start the Ideal Protocol diet. This is a high protein diet where you can lose weight in a healthy way. I hope to have more energy and feel good for a change, and lose weight too!

Hi there, I'm a 43 yr old woman making positive changes in my life over the past few years. I've struggled with many addiction in my life, my current being cigarettes and food, comfort food, food for every occasion, especially when exhausted. Over the past couple of years I've quit smoking only to gain 10-20 lbs, than start smoking only to lose 10-15 lbs. It's been a pattern to go back and fourth. I'm taken a Nutrition class and my professor assigned us to track our food for three days, well I've fallen in love with this site and I love what I'm learning. I'm shocked that a pancake is 900 calories, and a handful of Cheetos 600 calories! I'd love o make friends and build a support group with you so that I/we don't have to do this alone. Thanks.
