well, you have an amazing story and you did it once, you can do it again! only this time you will be doing it the right way with healthy eating and some really good workouts! Eating once a day could not have been good for you. Spark people will show you a healthy lifestyle so you can keep it off! Good luck and God bless:)

2015 is the year that I want to stop recovering and start living again!

Aug. 9th, I will start the Ideal Protocol diet. This is a high protein diet where you can lose weight in a healthy way. I hope to have more energy and feel good for a change, and lose weight too!

Hi everyone, let me begin by saying this will be the second time i have had 90 lbs to lose. i have been big all my life, but when i turned 18 and graduated high school, i decided i had had enough of being overweight, and for that summer i put my body through hell. Long story short, I lost 90 pounds and was down to a slim and very muscular 180lbs. I lifted a lot of weights while i was losing the weight, so my muscle tissue was not absorbed, as i was eating once a day, and a big 1300-1600 calorie meal. i had actually gained a lot of muscle. I made the biggest mistake when i got down to the size i wanted to however... I stopped working out. It took 8 years for me to gain the weight back, and another 20 pounds too. Today is Day 8 of my boot camp, I have lost 7.5 pounds since last monday. The difference is this time i am eating healthy, and i am eating enough calories for the day. (1800-2200) I may be big, but i have a distinct determination that others may not have. When i work out, i block out all pain from my mind, and it gives me the ability to workout very intensely for 1-2 hours a day. On average i am burning anywhere from 750-1500 calories a day. My favored activities include: Boxing (I used to box in the illinois amatuer league), Areobics(low impact), and weightlifting. Also some running, a lot of hopping/walking for boxing, and kenpo fighting. Im still pretty quick for a big guy, as i have retained a lot of my muscle as i gained the weight back. well there is my story, any feedback and advice is much appreciated :) -Jonny K
