I have been walking 2 days in a row, and used SP video for 10 minutes of cardio kickboxing with Coach Nichole. Today I did 2 hours of heavy cleaning so I counted that instead.

How are you doing? Have you decided on one or two small goals to start you off? Under the "fitness" tab they have a lot of demos and videos that I use a lot. I don't know if you have checked them out or not, but I just love them! They show you how to do the exercise correctly, and the videos aren't too long.

2015 is the year that I want to stop recovering and start living again!

Aug. 9th, I will start the Ideal Protocol diet. This is a high protein diet where you can lose weight in a healthy way. I hope to have more energy and feel good for a change, and lose weight too!

Hello Sac neighbor -- waving high to Carmichael from Rosemont! Thank you for your reply. Indeed, I must do it a little at a time. You hit it so squarely on the head --- I overdo it, then I hurt physically, then I quit! Please let me hear from you again about your successes!

emoticon JMMAHONEY! there are a lot of 50-60 something years old here on SP. I am 58, close enough:) I started with just 10 minutes a day, and started drinking 8 glasses of water and adding a veg/fruit each day over a year ago and I was doing really great for a long time! Just yesterday I set new goals again of just 10 minutes each. You don't want to overwhelm yourself with making too big of goals that will burn you out right away. Just start small and you CAN do it!

I'm happy to learn about this Sacramento team, and I'm wondering if there are any 60-year olds on the program. I sooooo badly need to get some motivation! I'm 50 lbs. overweight and have been this way for 20 years. I lose my motivation very easily but that's over and done with, I promise myself. I'm grateful I'm generally in good health with no particular physical ailments, but I feel unwell. I must move my body without hurting myself. I need to learn how to do all this from all of you!
