Hola! My super incognito online alias is OneTwenty120. Pretty clever, huh? I am still not comfortable using my real name so until that day comes, OneTwenty120 it is.

This is not my first weight loss journey, my friends. In fact, I think I've signed up on Spark People (SP) multiple times, only to delete my account after a few months of shameful inactivity. Well, not this time, I say! In the past, I have gone into my "journey" without really believing I could do it. What kind of start is that? I would "hope" that I could do it and I would outwardly convince myself that I would succeed, all the while telling my inner self that this wasn't going to work. I never really gave myself a chance.

Another thing I would do is limit myself in what I was willing to try. For example, I HATE counting calories. I hate food tracking PERIOD. However, I know that there's a huge benefit that can be reamed from it. But because I hate doing it, it was never an option. I'm going to try really hard to hard to at least write down what I eat. Maybe I won't be marking the calories, but at least I'll be writing down the food that went into my mouth. It's a start.

I think overall I'm just determined to be POSITIVE this time. I'm determined to make a TRUE effort to realize my goals. I'm EXCITED about my journey this time around, not dreading it. I'm looking so forward to the great things that lie ahead, including making some new online friends (hopefully)! Cheers to the journey!
