Well,while technically my motions may be jogging, I suspect I will be passed up by a pretty good percentage of walkers! My "running" speed is still pretty much at a slow crawl. When I did a practice 5K last week, it took me 46 minutes to finish!

Welcome! I'm signed up for the Zoo Zoom too, though I'm a walker, not a runner. :-)

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to Spark People though I've been on my healthy-lifestyle change since January 1st. So far, I've lost 25.5 pounds. My final goal is 100, so I have a ways to go, but I am feeling great about my start so far.

I just completed the C25K program and I'm going to continue with running as my main excercise goal. I'm planning on participating in the Sacramento Zoo's Zoo Zoom race (the 5K) in April.
