emoticon emoticon emoticon -I think the best you can do is use the tracker and learn to make gradual changes!!-higher protein,natural sugars(fruits), can help u go a long way!!I even think a daily bowl of oatmeal with sugar free maple and a little brown sugar can help with the hunger... emoticon crystal

Hi April. Welcome to the Done Girls.
If you are anything like me quitting soda cold turkey will be next to impossible. I do suggest using tea or coffee to replace the caffeine kick, then you can gradually work down the amount.

The more you educate yourself on healthy food choices the easier it will start to be to pick good ones on the run.

Boredom eating is a problem for a lot of us, I know I struggle most on my weekends when I am at home wanting to do very little and make easy food rather than healthy food.

So I am supposed to introduce my self i guess. My name is April im 25 soon to be 26 and i have always been overweight recently i was loosing weight and now i am gaining it back. I really want to have a healthier lifestyle. I work full time and i am going to school full time so it really seems so much easier to grab something on the go and I am always feeling so hungry and unsatisfied. Some times I also eat out of sheer boredom. I drink alot of soda and energy drinks and have a weakness for sweets. I feel like if I don't make a healthier lifestyle change it will end up killing me or causing me to have health problems. I really lack motivation I am hoping this site will help me with that. So far this is my first day and everything has been good. I went for a long walk and i have been eating healthier and this morning had my last soda! To me that is insane since I almost feel like I am adicted to Mt. Dew. even tho I am still within my calorie range where I should be I still feel hungry. I really hope I can curb that craving and start making changes for the better :) I also hope to make some new friends with common goals. Its nice knowing I am not alone.
