i saw this team in my wanderings through blogs and such today, and was fascinated at the thought. i have been walking and/or running daily since my daughter was 2 years old (she's 26 now), and many of those years were spent walking with my best friend and neighbor. we often wondered how far we had traveled by foot, but never measured it.
then i saw that someone had taken a virtual walk around england, and i thought - that's it! we have a home in sweden where we live in the summer, and we never go anywhere because we are so happy to be there. so here is my chance - i will start in strömstad, a town close to the norwegian border on the west coast, and the first leg will be to lysekil, which is 60 miles.
today i ran 4 miles, so 56 miles to go to lysekil on my way around the swedish coastline.
i think this will show the map here:
