Maybe you could mix it up a bit. Instead of doing the same jogging,

throw in some strength training a couple of days. Throw your metabolism off its usual routine, make it change. Just a thought. You know how they say - if you keep doing the same thing over and over, why would you ever expect a different result. (Or something like that)

A study recently came out saying that people who approached weight loss as weight maintenance lost more in the long run. It's a lifestyle, not a crash diet. 1/2 lbs a week is fine. Keep at it!

I re-joined sparkpeople in Dec 2012 with the goal of losing 50 lbs. I have been tracking my food daily and doing at least 20-30mins of jogging 4-5 times a week. So far I lost about 7lbs, its going slow and can become discouraging, but I think I will stick with it. I might have to reevaluate my goals, maybe if I have the goal of losing 1/2 lb weekly instead of 1lb weekly I will be able to see result and remain motivated.
I think I need to look at this as a new way of living and not some short-term thing.
