Thank you. Yeah the mom and dad gig is so hard. My son is 5 and has never met his "donor". I hope I'm on the right path, I've 100% changed the food in our home, no junk at all. I drink nothing but water except once or twice a week I have one 4oz cup of juice or a 8-32oz unsweetened tea. I had to set a timer on my phone to help me remember to eat. I haven't done any exercise since monday the 16th because i fractured my knee and it hurts. Again thank you for sharing with me, helps me knowing that I'm not alone in this.

Its very easy to get discouraged- especially when you have so many pressing things to take care of. I've been a single mother since my daughter was 8 (she's now 20 and in college), and its never easy to do the Mom and Pop gig 24 hours a day.

In the past 2 1/2 years I have put on 40lbs and finally decided ENOUGH about a month ago. I have absolutely nothing that fits except some sweat outfits and regardless what my days hold I NEED to take care of me. My blood pressure is very high and having a mother who suffered from Diabites, hyper-tension, and a stroke - that should be enough of an incentive to get healthy.. I've only lost 11 lbs in about 5 weeks, but I'm 1/4 of the way to where I want to be.

Stick with this. Slow and steady is always better than none at all- And you'll be a better Mom when you healthier!!!

I'm currently overweight, and I'm a single mom. With attending school full-time, and working 2 jobs, i don't have time to fully devote myself to losing weight, but 2 weeks ago I decided that I needed to do something. So, I'm currently in the middle of a massive lifestyle change. I'm finding it hard to stay motivated, and keep it up. Someone told me I should start using SP to help me out. I would like any advice that anyone has to share on how to stay motivated, on different foods that make good snacks, ect... I'll be looking forward to awesome feedback.
