Welcome Robert. I'm Heather. Single mom of 2 girls, ages 7 & 8. My 8 yr old does cheerleading, and I know how busy THAT can be, so I can just imagine you're in a whirlwind right now. If you ever get a chance to watch your son's practices/physical trainings, take note of what the coaches have them do. Helping out with my daughter's team I've seen the football training and they put those boys through a workout! Maybe you could try out some of their moves. Also, since your kids are so active, they could use healthy snacks and small meals. You could try eating the same things. During the season is when I eat the healthiest I think. Apple slices and bananas on the go...stuff like that...I need to go back to that! I've actually gained since it's been off season. See, it works! Good luck!

Hi Everyone, My name is Robert. I'm a programmer and a single father of two, their mother isn't around at all, no help from that area. We stay pretty busy, my daughter is 16 and in dance, my son is 13 and into football and basketball so it's really easy to fall into bad eating habits. my weight has been a bit up and down but now that my kids live with me I REALLY need to be able to keep up with them and all their activities. plus, i haven't dated much over the last few years, self-confidence became a bit of an issue as my weight crept up. I have about 60lbs to lose, i want to be back to my Military weight of 190, and I want the years added back to my life to spend with my kids. we live in Florida and I want a good chunk of this weight gone before beach weather comes back.
