I know how you feel about taking control. There are several guides and video guides on the site so go to the start page tab and it will help get you started. I have found participating in the forums and exploring the teams helped my find people that stimulated my dreams and got me going. Take this first week to familiarize yourself with the tools here. Once you get used to using them, it becomes easier to use them even when you are busy. Personally, I spent my first week learning to use the tools, and just tracking everything I was already eating and doing for exercise. It gave me a baseline to work from. It also gave me a chance to really decide what my goals were, and how to get there.

You have joined a very caring and supportive team that is here to encourage you on toward achieving your goals of living a healthier, happier lifestyle.

I am sorry your life is so out of control right now but glad that you are taking some actions toward the things in your life you can have control over. There are many ways our lives can be out of control and since I don't know which you are referring about, I will not speculate.

Know we are here for you. It really does ease the burden when you share. This is a safe place you can come to get feedback, just be, or sort through things. Hopefully you have outside supports such as counseling or a doctor if everything in your life is that out of control.

We look forward to hearing more from you, so keep posting. There is also a daily check in group with some awesome people.

Hi Everyone, My name is Amy and my life is completely out of control right now! After sitting down and taking stock of things I've realized that although many things in my life are out of my control right now there is one thing I can take charge of... my health. I can control what I eat and what exercise I do, I've just been using everything else as an excuse not to put in the effort. No more excuses, it's time to step up and do the work I need to do. I can't wait take this journey with all of you.
