Had a surgery in July. The weight has been creeping up on me since then. Think I was nervous about exercising. Not an excuse. Seriously was worried about damaging myself. Lost 100lbs back in 2009....20lbs back in past 3 1/2 months. Gotta get active....

hey!
i'm new to spark but of course not to living with depression..lol i've struggled with bipolar depression along with way too many other mental health issues since i was young. i'm 22, am on a leave from college right now and stumbled upon this site. i am very unhappy with my weight right now, as i let it get steadily higher (which, of course, generally correlates with a descent into a depressed mood episode) anyway, trying to hold on to any ounce of optimism i still have and lose some of the weight despite the mood episode i'm currently in. i wish depression didn't make me eat more than normal... too bad it couldn't be the other way around for me :( okay well hope everyone is hanging in there- i know all ya'll in this group have been or are going through tough times and i hope i can get to know some of ya'll so we can help support each other.
