Hi everyone,

I'm Jillian, 27, mother of 1. My husband and I are planning for #2 (not actively TTC yet). Before we start, I want to get to a healthy weight to help prevent any issues.

I was already overweight when I first conceived in 2012 and I gained almost 100 lbs during that pregnancy. It was a very difficult pregnancy and trying to function with all of that weight on me felt impossible.

I didn't lose all of the weight after I had my daughter and before we try again I want (NEEEED) to lose weight so I'll be in a better starting place. I want a chance at a happier, healthier pregnancy.

I suffer from orthopedic problems as well (L hip bursitis, hypermobile SI joint, degenerative disc disease). The doctor believes that if I lose weight, I'll hopefully be in less pain, making for not only a happier me but also an easier pregnancy in the future.
