I am in the same boat as you. I've lost 30lbs so far and have about 20 more to go. I've found that the best thing for me is to keep reminding myself that I am doing it for my health and for the health of my family.

But don't get me wrong... it's hard work!

Sounds like a great plan Amanda! I've been trimming down these last few months in preparation for ivf next month. I also wanted to get in shape in hopes to maintain working out during pregnancy. I will totally buddy up with ya.

Hi All-

My name is Amanda and I've been on and off sparkpeople for a couple of years. My husband and I want to start a family in the next few months! However, I need to lose 20 lbs before doing so. One reason is my type 1 diabetes and the other reason is that I have this issue where my hip presses on one of my nerves and it tends to get worse with weight gain! My BMI is a little high as well.

So here I am re-commiting! My goal is try and lose around approx. 20 lbs in 3-4 months. I would LOVE to find a buddy so we could hold each other accountable! Thanks :)
