Pulling two kids and going to spin class are more workout than you think. You will not have any trouble riding a road bike, and I will bet that it feels like no workout at all! Good luck on the tri - you will do GREAT!

I am a runner and swimmer. I ride on a 3 speed bike pulling a trailer with my 2 kids. A workout in its own way, but I've never biked as exercise. I've been to a few spin classes, but again, nothing regularly.

Well, my running group talked me into making the plunge to triathlon. I signed up for an Olympic distance, August 25. I bought a cheap road bike yesterday. I am so excited!!
