If yo can do a 1/2 marathon, you will be great at a sprint triathlon. It won't take you any longer, and you can divide your time between 3 different activities. Obviously, the run won't be a problem for you! emoticon

Hi all,

I'm 33, living in Lancaster county, PA, and I signed up for my first triathlon(s) in July/August. This group looks like a good resource to meet people and learn. My guide for this journey is Friel's Triathlon Training Bible and I have already started strength training and created a macro cycle for the year.

My scheduled events so far are:

March 21-Shamrock half marathon in VA Beach
April 10-the Cherry Blossom 10 mile
July 11-Philly women's sprint tri
Aug 1-Sherox Philly Sprint Tri

Hope to hear from you!
