Welcome Miss Hart!
Our outdoor peeps are a super duper team. We focus on fitness goals, love to play and live life fully, and support each other when life hits hard.
We spend a lot of time over on "The Deck" thread, so please join us! We talk the truth and plenty of fantasy...because we have made many improvements to our Deck! We have lots on amenities to take advantage of. Pools, treehouse roller-coaster, Wood shop, Tapas bar, waterfall and gardens and more. So head on over to the deck and when you have questions...please ask!

I love hiking too! :)

Welcome Miss! I love kayaking too! Mild climate here in SC so I even get some paddling in January. Great job getting the indoor exercise when the weather won't let you out!

Did you get some snow to cover the ice?

emoticon to the team! You'll find this is a great group, very supportive and fun... Most of us "hang out" on the Happy Hour On The Deck thread where we share our "real" adventures as well as let our imaginations go wild just for fun... We also have a weekly weigh in in the Last Man Standing thread (kind of a for fun challenge)...weigh in is on Fridays... As long as you lose weight or at least stay the same you're "still in"... If you gain you get a 1 week grace period to get back on track, otherwise you end up as "cheerleaders" for those "still standing" (some members have weekly exercise goals instead if they are already at a maintenance level)... Anyway it's just a fun "challenge" to motivate each other

Welcome again... Don't be shy... We were all new here once!

PS... I love hiking, camping and kayaking too but like you our winter weather has put the camping and kayaking on hold for now! :-)

I have to admit, I have lurked the past two or three days and I would love to become an active part of this group! My favorite outdoor activities are hiking, camping, and especially kayaking! I live in northern Maine and even though our our win chills have been hanging anywhere between -20 to -40 lately I have been managing to get an average of 5 miles daily indoors. I track using a fitbit zip and LOVE it!
