well you've come to the right place. you've joined a great team who are here to help you in your health journey.

everyones chemistry is different. people who can eat anything and not gain weight have no concept of what we go through. so try this,


first throw out all the junk food in your house.

then Use the food tracker. input everything that goes into your mouth. stay within your calorie range. watch portion size, keep healthy snacks on hand. apple, celery, etc. exercise. you must burn more calories than you eat.

exercising is key. I hope this helps

Hello Liberty! Welcome to the Outdoor People Team! I have been a SP member for several years, this team I only recently joined. I can tell you from experience here at SP that the more you join in, the more support you receive. Be active in conversations or challenges. Make sparkfriends and keep in touch with them. It takes time to find those who connect well with you, so don't give up! Some of us are online more than others, and some participate more ETC. Hang around the main message boards to get lots of feedback, hang around smaller teams to get a buddy feel. I recommend joining only the team that really interest you, because too many teams gets overwhelming. Well, all this is only my humble opinion. It certainly isn't the end all, be all of advice, just a place to get you started! Good luck in your SP journey, and remember, baby steps are better than no steps at all!

My name is Liberty and i have quite a few problems concerning my body that need to be taken care of before it's too late and other problems surface. I need all the support and motivation i can get. one big thing is i need to strengthen my upper back/shoulder muscles because of excessive breast weight. i'm not really new to this site but i haven't been here for years because, as i said, i needed motivation. i thought i had it and then i let myself go. but now, i need to get back in shape not just for me. i need to do it for my husband-to-be, my mom (RIP), and my future children. I have plenty of people to support me but i need help from somebody like me who i can team up with and we can be each others motivation and strength. Thanks so much for reading.
