Thanks for the nice comments. Bryce and Zion are both awesome. Actually I love the entire southwest. I plan to go back to Zion next year with a friend to hike the narrows. Never been to the north rim of the Grand Canyon, but I hear it's wonderful and much less crowded. Hope I can get there in the next few years, but next year my best friend and I are planning to backpack into Keet Seel and Havasu Falls and then up into southern Utah. By the way, the petroglyph wallpaper is a photo I took at Newspaper Rock in Canyonlands. Someday I also hope to get down your way to Savannah. I hear it's also a wonderful place to visit.

SWDESERTLOVER,
The Photo signature on your message was so intriguing, I went to your SparkPage. Your photography is fabulous--your love of the desert comes through loud and clear. I have trouble capturing the light and the colors, but you have it down. Love the petroglyph wallpaper, too. One of my favorite trips was to the desert southwest, hiking Bryce and Zion, soaking in hot mineral pools in New Mexico, and exploring the north rim of the Grand Canyon in the peak of wildflower season. Your pictures revived grand memories.

I am pretty new to Sparks -- just joined this month -- and am just finding my way to teams. This one seems like a perfect match for me. I love swimming, biking, hiking, geocaching, birding, canoeing, kayaking, and white water rafting. If there is another way to enjoy the outdoors I am probably game to try it (except for rock climbing--I did it with my grandson once, and that was enough for me).
