Story of my life! I helped host a bridal shower this weekend and was in charge of desserts. I made wedding cake cupcakes, cheesecake-filled chocolates, and champagne truffles dipped in white chocolate. Major danger! But gosh it was good. I know how you feel!

I'm very happy to find this group! I baked some peanut butter and white chocolate cookies last night. Delish recipe - I should know... I ate way too many! Now to find the balance of enjoying baking to have a small treat while still keeping up with my goals :)

I have so much trouble controlling myself while baking, that will be my challenge as well, to moderate that!

Hello! I am new to the team. I just discovered it when it was suggested on my spark teams page and I was thrilled to find it. It's nice to find a team that has more things in common than just trying to lose weight. :) I love to bake. In another life, I would have been a pastry chef. I would have studied at Le Cordon Bleu and apprenticed with the finest bakery in France. In another life. :) But this is my life now. Baking has been my downfall in the past--cheesecake especially (I used to make them and sell them) but all things sweet and chocolate have added pounds to my hips, thighs, stomach--practically everywhere! My challenge now is finding healthy, fast recipes that satisfy my sweet tooth but don't add to my cholesterol level!

Every day we get a chance to start over. That's 365 chances every year. All we have to do is take them.
