Your menus needn't be as limited as you think. In place of dairy you can use soy (assuming you don't have an allergy to it.) There are other milk alternatives but do read the nutrition labels because a lot of very low in (particularly) calcium and protein.

My young grandson has severe allergies - some of which he is now able to tolerate small amounts - but others remain a 'no go'. He needs to have an epi-pen with him wherever he goes. Initially his severe life-threatening allergies were all nuts, eggs, dairy, kiwifruit.

My son-in-law has Celiac Disease. There are a variety of flours and bought products that you can have in it's place. Here is a link to a brand that is well recommended and is international. My g/son and s-in-law often use these products - they are very good.

I was recently tested for food allergies. Found out I am highly sensitive to gluten, dairy and a little to soy. I choose to go vegetarian several years ago so my menus are quite limited.
