Hello Toni and welcome back. Like you I left and returned, but now I'm here to stay. If you're looking for the meal plans, Go to the nutrition page and look underneath the calorie tracking table for " Tools and Settings." In that box you'll see "Show Meal Plans." Click it and Voila! To adjust the meal plan to address specific needs or desires go to " Edit Nutrition Goals."

Hello, my name is Toni - I live in Washington state, I am married... we have one son, a daughter in law and two beautiful granddaughters. My husband and I are pastors in the Salvation Army.

I used to use Spark People years ago to help me stay on track with dieting. But I went away from it and tried all kinds of other diet programs, eventually getting bariatric surgery (Sleeve) in 2013. I did really well for the first 8 months and then we went on a three week vacation and I decided to not worry about the diet while I was on vacation and I would pick up where I left off when I got back. Well needless to say I never got back on track and now eat just as much (if not more) then I used to before. I have gained back 2/3 of what I lost and I have digestive and joint issues now that I never had before. I'm tired of hurting all the time, I'm tired of the digestive issues and I need to get back in control before things get worse.

One thing I have learned is that, when left to my own device's, I will not make good choices. I do better following a plan that TELLS me what to eat and how much - at least until I get confident and steadily back on track again.

When I used Spark People before, I thought they had menu plans you could follow, but I don't see it on the page anywhere, do they not give meal suggestions for each day anymore? Any suggestions to get me started would be greatly appreciated.
