Hi Kim! Welcome! My dd is 13, too, and we are relaxed eclectic homeschoolers, too. I was just debating one or two CurrClick classes for this next month. Then I'd save A Christmas Carol for high school. The year the boys and I read it, the church put on a modern version play, so it was a fun comparison with the old movie, too.

I like your goals. With me working halftime or so now, we've been eating out a lot. I need to cut that way back. Dd's in basketball and ballet, so trying to get meals in around practice, too, is a challenge. Dh is thinking of taking a lunch, but for him that means processed lunchmeats which I hate to buy since he has hbp. He says the eating out is the same thing. sigh. He's not a guy willing to go for the meatless meals either.

Let's do this and keep each other accountable!

I'm new to this team. emoticon
My name is Kim. I am 39 yeas old. I live in Kansas with dh, dd, 2 dogs, 3 cats and a fish.
I've been around Sparkpeople for a few years.
My 13 year old dd has always been homeschooled. I would call us secular relaxed eclectic homeschoolers.

Dd and I eat almost all of our meals at home. Dh takes a packed lunch 5 days a week.

My goals:
Eat less processed foods. Get dd to eat less processed foods.
Eat more fruits and vegetables.
Eat meatless meals 3 to 4 days per week.
Exercise daily.
