Hello all!

So glad to have stumbled upon this group! I did SP a few years ago while I was in college, and actually was enticed back when I got my iPhone and discovered the SP app!!

I am turning 25 this month and I've never been under 150lbs my whole life! In high school I lost about 30-40lbs over the course of 3-4 years, but 150 has been a brick wall for me ever since! Currently stuck at around 154-156, and ready to move on up. . .or DOWN rather!

So glad to have found this group- looking forward to having a support system and NOT getting frustrated! emoticon

Just arrived this morning after a bit of an extended stay in 160ville. Im not sure whether or not I will take up permamant residence here or not - I havent figured out my true "goal " weight, although I think low 150s may be about right for me (but 140s might work too). We'll see soon enough!

Anyway just wanted to say hi and that Im looking forward to meeting you all!

Hey Jensjape, welcome to our town.

If you're up for it, we have a new challenge starting on Monday, March 1st. Maybe taking the challenge will give that scale the push it needs to send you out of here (we'll miss you, but we know you're looking forward to 140ville).

Running a 5k is a great motivator to get/stay in shape.

I think we all have days when we don't stick to our plan and then regret it. The trick is to focus on the things you did well that day, not on any mistakes you made.

Think positive, focus on the greatness in you!!!

Happy Fabulous Friday! I have never joined a "team" before, so here it goes. I have been at 155 forever, whether watching what I eat and exercising or just eating whatever. I lost some weight about 3 years ago and looked and felt fantastic, and I am trying to get that back again. This week I am at 151, but the scale could change its mind again,so Ill probably be here awhile. I'm just going to do my best and am looking forward to running a 5K this summer with my friends:)I have days where it is so hard that I just give up (only for the day) and eat terrible, then regret it the next day. Anyone else like that? Thanks for listening, err, reading. Lets get angry at our weight and use the anger to work it off at the gym!!!

Hey! I'm currently content & even happy to be in 150-ville (159.8... just made it!) I haven't been under 160 in atleast 2yrs so I'm living in the moment :) (give me 2 weeks & I'll want out lol) ...however I'm of coarse looking even more forward to 140-ville! I plan to be there by the last day of March at the latest!

Hi all. I have got to get back in the swing of things and get to my goal weight. I've slacked off for about 4 months now and I can really tell the difference. Im starting to feel slugish again since I stopping eating right and exercising regularly. I would love to get to my goal weight before summer so I am getting back on my routine and doing it. Welcome, glad to have you on board.

To remove yourself from a Team:

1. Click the Community tab at the top of your Start page.
2. Select SparkTeams from the dropdown menu.
3. Click on the Team you'd like to leave.
4. Scroll to the bottom of your Team page and click on Leave This Team."
5. Once confirmed, you'll be removed from the Team.

Hi all!
I just re-entered the 150s with today's weigh in. I'm doing the happy dance because 1) I lost two pounds this week, and 2) more important, I'm back in the 150s. A place I haven't been in a long, long, time.

I live in Sherwood OR. Have been a sparker since Jan 2008, but actually dropped out after a couple of weeks. But have been serious about this, once again, since December. I have the slow and steady wins the race mentality this time around. And I'm pumped.

BTW, anyone know how to unregister from a team. I want to be in this team and leave the 160s behind?

Hello! I'm new to this team and posting to sparkpeople in general even though I've been at it for almost 2 yrs! I'm hoping this will help get me into the 140's because I've only ever gotten to 150 and then slipped up. I decided that in time for the new year I would join a team and see if it would help motivate me to keep going. My ticker says 150 but, well, with the holidays and all.. I'll officially weigh in tomorrow on my new scale and see what the damage is! Looking forward to the 140's and cheering everyone else on to get there too! emoticon

Hello! Just arrived -- so thrilled! I am 159 as well and my goal is 140 by February. I totally know what you are talking about KUANGIE with having trouble dropping pounds when training. I had been training for a recent half marathon as well (thought I would drop tons of weight!) but totally leveled out -- which was very annoying. I'm going to run another in March as well, so hopefully we'll both be able to get out of here and into the 140's!!
