thanks! yea, I agree totally about farm work. All day on the farm is no comparison to an hour in a gym. Although sometimes the amenities sure sound nice!

Welcome to the team~
I think doing actual farm work or gardening, etc. is better for our bodies than being a gym rat. jmpo.
Best wishes to you on accomplishing your goals, health and cow. =)

Hi!
Mimi here. I am a small time farmer in the mountains w/ sheep, goats and chickens. I want a cow, but do not have room yet. I have been on spark since October. I do a lot of weight lifting, which I got into as a way to prevent injuries after my DH had several really bad farm related injuries. Since he got hurt, I've picked up a lot of the heavy lifting, so I am not trying to get "skinny," but strong. I don't have much to lose. I mostly want to stay healthy and remember to eat good food even when we are shearing for 3 days straight or tossing hay until our arms break.
I wasn't sure which team to join, but the story about the government guy in the BMW got me! LOL!
Well, just wanted to say HI!
