What a great start! It was nice here in Virginia this weekend so I decided to go for a walk/jog on Saturday and Sunday. My legs are super sore today but it feels good. I would like to be able to continue outside 3 days a week since I don't have access to a treadmill and Ive always found them difficult since I feel like my speed changes often.

Today was my lets see were my starting point is when it comes to my 5K goal. Till it gets warm enough to walk/jog outside it is the treadmill for me.I know it is not the best way to train for a 5k it is a good way to start if it is cold and snowing outside. I am starting at a 5 min warm up at 2.5 and then increase my numbers to 3.5 to 4.2. It will be rough but I know I can do this and I have lots of support from my best friend and the head of the athletics department at my college. I am training Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays with strength training in between. I am looking forward to reading about all your success stories and hopefully sharing mine.
