I did my first 5k back in June and loved it! I couldn't jog the whole thing but really want to be able to jog 5k and more! So I've kept up with my training and have been very slow in starting with the couch to 5k app however I've finished week 1 and found it really easy but massively fun! As I have a 10 minute walk to the track I use, the 5 minute walking warm up is actually a jog for me. Then I stick to the program and walk the 5 minute cool down. I've found week 1 is roughly 2.5k so once that's finished I walk a song, jog a song. Whilst a quicker time would be nice I really want to get into long distance running (I'm thinking of the London Marathon when I'm able to) so the start stop works well for me and hoping to be able to build it up! Looking forward to posting my results with you all x
