I have a 2 year old and I do my workouts in the morning before he wakes up (which means 5am). Of course that only works if you have someone else at home to leave with your toddler. :)

Yes! It is totally possible. I have just finished week 6, and I currently have an almost 2 year old. I have done some of my runs with my 70 lb lab, and some of them with the jogging stroller, toddler AND lab. I will say pushing the stroller is easier than trying to get the dog to keep running instead of sniffing every passing tree/plant/etc. I will be finishing at the start of August and plan on running a 5k with the stroller to celebrate.

I'm the mom of a toddler too and am restarted the Couch to 5k (er, again!). It's absolutely possible! Is there any way you could get 30 minutes to yourself though to do the runs solo? Or do you have a treadmill at home or a gym with a daycare?

Personally, I haven't tried running with my toddler in tow. I'm sure it's doable with a jogging stroller though! I've done the couch to 5k whilst being a parent though before- after getting him down for the night and using the treadmill at home. This morning I was up early and hit the road. Hubby and son were still asleep. If you're a single parent I can see the issue for sure- but again, you can either pop said toddler into a jogging stroller, exercise at home while he's playing or sleeping, or go to a gym with a daycare :)

I'm so unbelievably unfit and as my little one is just learning to walk I figure it wont be long before I'll need the energy and the fitness level to chase him around.

Has anyone managed to go from barely being able to run for a minute to the 5k with a toddler in tow?
