Welcome! I am not a fan of endurance running but I see the results and I think 'I want that' so I keep working to get there.

I'm on week 4, though I'm repeating it for a final week this week. I've had to work up to being able to finish that final 5 min interval without killing myself in the process (finally got it today!) Running makes me feel like I can do anything so even though I find it very hard some days it always feels worth it at the end. Keep with it and you've got your mountain biking to mix it up. I'm thinking about adding in some biking and swimming after I conquer this program to keep my body from getting too used to the running. I was an athlete in high school and played soccer and swim team so I love to do it all.

Have fun with the program and like the poster above said, don't be afraid to adjust or repeat or modify it as you go if you find a particular week too challenging.

I used to hate even the thought of running, but now it's an enormous part of my life and I can't imagine not doing it. Just stick with it!

Welcome! I just finished week 2--I am so surprised at how much I am enjoying it, and how much I've started to look forward to the workouts! I run on the treadmill--I started the program last year outside, but hated it. Didn't feel like I was able to push myself, and the area I was running on was rocky and uneven. Was afraid I would fall or twist my ankle. Don't be afraid to repeat a day, or even a full week if you feel your not ready to move on---I'm contemplating that about Week 3--I might repeat week 2 just to up my endurance and lung capacity!

Hi. My name is Christine. I have joined in hopes to find some type of exercise I can feel motivated to do. I do not like running...never have at least. I used to do mountain biking and had never thought I would like that either but I LOVED it!

I live a pretty sedentary life (desk job, plop on couch at home in evenings). Kids keep me busy but just no energy lately.

Hoping to get some training in and possibly run a 5k next spring :-)

I am starting today with my first run on the treadmill
