Wow, so I came here to post about restarting again- and saw my old post! I think this is a lesson in sticking with things so I don't need to "restart!"

So yes, it's November 2014. I have lost a bit of weight and still working on A LOT more. My husband was away for 2 months for training for a new job, so exercising has been a difficult thing to include in my schedule (working fulltime and mom of a toddler, and new puppy too). Not to make excuses, but yes, just been one of those things that I put on the back burner.

Now that DH is back from training, I want to get the C25k started again. And I know I can do it. I can easily find three times a week to dedicate 30 minutes on my treadmill.

Tonight, doing just that. Letting DH handle bedtime with our son while I get a run in.

Wanted to post something on here about this- I'm sure there are MANY like me who have started and restarted several times. Hopefully this is my last "restart."

New Starting Weight (January 2016): 199.4

Mini-Goal Weight: 179

Next Mini-Goal: 165

Final Goal: 150

Thanks for the replies! Good to know I'm not alone!!

Just finished my run! Started on Week 3- and almmossst did it- the last 3 minute run though my knee started hurting, so I turned it into a really brisk walk. Looking forward to the next 2 runs this week- planning on Friday evening and Sunday morning.

I like that thought...I'll start today too...I love week 1 I admit this...LOL maybe week 1 today week 2 on Friday?

I've restarted recently too! I just finished week 3 (repeated it once) and am also determined to complete it again. Last time I lost 20 lbs and made it 3 months before real life derailed me. This time I've promised myself one year of running and eating clean 90% of the time and just an eye on feeling better more than anything.

It's kind of dead in this board now but glad to see someone else here! :)

Congratulations on the new little one! Baby will keep you hopping so running will surely help you keep up with the demands of mommyhood LOL.

I saw an ad for a local 5k run in June and this was my motivation to RESTART again!! I've tried restarting the Couch to 5k several times this year. Each time I last about a week and something throws me off schedule and next thing I know it's been 2-3 weeks with no runs. The last time I did the C25k I lost 15 lbs, felt amazing and stuck with it for the full 8-9 weeks. After I ran the last week I stopped and then got pregnant and well, now I'm a new mom and need to stop the excuses.

So, here's to "restarting" again. I may start up at week 2 or 3- where I last was and was at the point of going up to week 4. Even if I start at week 1 tonight I can gauge myself. If it's too easy then I'll move up a week, but if it's hard then I'll just be smart about it and not do anything to hurt myself.
