I've been on spark for awhile. I haven't done running because of IT band problems. I have learned how to use the foam roller, and it does help. I woke up so tired today - it looked like someone had punched me in the eye. It took me awhile to do anything but read, watch tv and nap. Since I had my kindle in hand, I downloaded a Couch to 5K book, then I downloaded a heart rate monitor and a couch to 5K app for my iphone. Put on some Tom Petty and went out to do it. I had gotten up to one continuous mile, so this is stepping back a little, but that will be okay. My goal is to be fit for a 5K by Mother's Day weekend.

I've been working with a personal trainer since last may. We are backing up there and working on form due to shoulder stuff. I have been getting stronger there. The cardio stuff has been coming in slowly behind that. I have started to see a rhythm happen, and now I have my 3 days/week for this project.

So, on my cool down I thought I should join a spark group. I'm not on spark everyday because sometimes I leave my laptop at work. I can check in once a week, I'm sure....
