Good for you!

I'm doing "Re-Run 5K" -- it's the regular app, but my second start. :D I finished a 10K program and was running regularly for an hour 3 days a week, but I fell off the wagon last fall. Feels good to be starting again.

A good place to start is with John "The Penguin" Bingham's books such as "The Courage to Start" and "No Need for Speed". You can also find "couch to 5K" programs online. Good luck and have fun.

And I saw a Spark article about the C25K. So I decided to try it! I downloaded the first week's podcast from Podrunner and I did my first training session this afternoon!

It was hard, but do-able. I was just starting to get my groove and enjoy the running, when it was over!

Anyway, I'm Amanda, and I'm excited about being a member of this team and getting up to 5K. My city has a half-marathon in October and they're doing a 5K and 10K warmup race before it, so I'm hoping I can do that 5K this year!

Enjoying every single moment I can with my husband and little boy!
