Hi, I'm Michelle. I have signed up for a 5k with SP before, and accomplished one as well (on a nature park trail). However, I had a lot of trouble with my knees (the road shoulder slants so that doesn't help) so did not continue jogging. My husband loves to though, and I recently discovered my knees strengthening as I walk the dogs through snow and so on with my hiking boots on. I've looked further and am finding ways to strengthen all the muscles that have to do with the knees, and so have decided to once again get training for jogging- but this time to be able to jog with my hubby on a regular basis.
I just started the program today, using my treadmill. I'm hoping we can run in a park, at least to start with, after I'm done preparing with my treadmill sessions. :) Thanks for being here!

Just do it!

I absolutely love running outside. I just got back from one :)
Hills = slow down and shortn stride
dogs = you can't outrun them so get some pepper spray if concerned

Welcome! I just finished the C25K 9 week program this past weekend. Tomorrow, I take the training outside. I'm a little worried about it. There are hills and dogs and things like that. ;)

Hello everyone. My name is Bobby, I am 46 and have been using the Couch to 5k for about 4 weeks now. I am loving it, it keeps me going. But everyone needs more motivation, that is what I am here for and to motivate others.
