I have to agree that jumping wtih the bigger leap might be best. If it is too tough, you can always change it back, but see if you can pull it off. You might just amaze yourself!

Hi and welcome to the team emoticon

Smile .... it makes people wonder what you're up to ;-)

It is far easier to MAKE time to exercise than it is to FIND time to exercise. You want results???? MAKE it happen.

Keep trying - you CAN do it - believe in yourself!

Welcome!!

I agree with OLIVIANIGHT -- I just did my first 20 minute run last week, and that was jumping up from only doing an 8 minute segment at most. It was tough mentally, looking at the numbers and thinking I could NEVER complete that time... but, I was able to push through and make it. My advice is to just try it, and if you have to slow down to make it, that's fine. It's taken me a few times through the program to get done with that run -- but now that it's under my belt I feel like I can do it again, and again, and again. Good luck!!

Never give up on something you can't go a day without thinking about.

Welcome to SP and to the team : )
My advice is just go for the big jump. Mine had a massive leap, like 8 minutes to 15 minutes solid running and I thought I would NEVER manage it. But I tried and did it just like that.

Go for it, you might just surprise yourself! And even if you don't there's nothing wrong with repeating days until you can do them. Took me 6 months to finish the 9 week program....

Hi Everyone! I'm new to this group and just recently decided to start checking out SparkPeople. I like it, I think the community aspect is awesome!

I am working on the c25k program using a couple of different apps on my iPhone. I am finding that each one has different intervals. I'm trying to figure out which one would be the best one to do for Week 4. The app I was using primarily has a significant jump between week 3 and 4 and I'm worried that it's too much of a jump. Any advice for being able to make this jump between week 3 and 4 and ensuring I succeed?

Thanks!!
