Congratulations! I can't think of a better reason for taking a break!

Tracy, Illinois, CST

Man sacrifices his health in order to make money.

Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health.

And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present;

The result being that he does not live in the present or the future;
he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.
~The Dalai Lama

My story so far:
I started the program earlier this year and managed to get to week 8, gradually building my stamina, learning how to love running and getting better results every time. A big part of keeping up with the training and the motivation, was this group and all of you lovely people!

Then one time, I think it was w8d2, I came to a complete halt in the middle of the run. I just couldn't take a step more, my lungs were burning and I felt completely wiped out. I managed to drag myself home and felt miserable rest of the day, both physically and emotionally, I just was not prepared for such a huge leap backwards...

I contemplated all kinds of different options: maybe I was coming down with the flu or had been training too hard...
emoticon
But, it appeared there was a very good reason behind all of this. The next day I found out that I was pregnant! For a couple of days after I was determined to finish the program, after all I was ALMOST there, but then the nausea, exhaustion and bad hip pains struck and I had to admit to myself that my running days were over for a while.... I have now started yoga classes and take walks reguĺarly. The Due Date is in March, so I am carefully planning to start the program again in the beginning of summer 2013.

I really love C25K and wish all of you succes! If I was able to make it so far, you are too!
emoticon
So, I'll take a break from the team, but I am certainly coming back!
