Thanks Olivia! day 2 was much easier than day 1 and I just finished week2 day 3 a few minutes ago and it was even easier for me to run those 90 seconds without stopping. I also used an app I found on iTunes which I found was made my running much more enjoyable. I can use my own playlist and a little voice tells me when to walk and run. :) I never thought I could actually enjoy this...I usually don't run unless I'm being chased! LOL

Hi Brandy, welcome to the team.
I just did week 2 day 2 yesterday! How are you finding it?

Hi, Brandy! Welcome!

Congrats on your C25K progress! I just finished W9D2, so I'm close to "graduating," but I am definitely still new to running. And yes--a slow trot is most definitely considered running, at least by me, because they don't come much slower than me. :)

You should be just about done with the program by the time your 5k gets here, and even if you're not quite (I know I had to repeat a couple of weeks for various reasons), you'll be far enough along that you'll do great. Yay!

Kate

Hi Everyone! This is my second time joining SparkPeople. I am transitioning over here from WW because I want to see how counting my calories affects my weight loss versus tracking points. Also because I can't live in a world where 1/4 of an avocado is 2 pts. emoticon

I have just finished Week 2/Day 2 of the C25k program on my treadmill and happened to come across this team. I am excited to meet others like me who are new to running and to also help motivate others who need it.

I plan on running, (if a slow trot can be considered running), my first 5k in October. I found out about the C25k program from a blog I read and was happy to find a team here on SP.

Sorry for the long winded intro...I have a hard time shutting up in real life too if it helps. emoticon

Take care,
Brandy
