I signed up for my first 5K on October 6th to give myself plenty of time to train since I've never ran before...at all. But, I did the first day of the first week of the C25K today and it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be! I think if I just do this program, by the time the run comes, I should be able to finish in 30 mins or less. Plus, it's the Color Run so time doesn't really matter, it's more about having fun in a colorful mess of awesomeness for charity :)

I just signed up for my first 5k too, for September 1st. I'm on Week 2 of my C25K. It's motivating to have that race looming at the end of my training. ^^

I am signed up for a 5k the end of July, but on a whim I decided that I'm going to do a 5k this Sunday. I can jog 3 miles at the gym (44 min PR- stop laughing lol), so why not. Super excited!!!!
