Follow the program and you will become a runner.

As for not wanting to run any races, the only person you are really racing is yourself. Believe me when I say that the sense of pride and accomplishment from running a 5K is awesome. When you get near the end of the program consider a race. That is what hooked me and fuels my now love of running. Best of luck.

Welcome Jenny! I'm also a busy plus size mom of three. Ages 11,8,9. I'm starting my day 5 tomorrow even though I started over a week ago. I had to take some time off and do other things because I hurt my foot. Your going to love it! emoticon

Hi Jennifer...mom of 3. I bet you have a little stress in you life being the mom of 3, crisis counselor and back in school. WOW...I think it's time for you. Running will be great. It makes me feel so good. It gives you strength, energy and makes you feel like a free spirit. It's not always easy to get up and get out there but make a commitment to yourself and do it 3 times a week. We all support you here on this team and ready to help you through. emoticon

Hello all. Im Jennifer, a 31 year old mom of 3 who lives in West Central Indiana. I am a Crisis Intervention Counselor for a center that services 5 counties. I am also continuing my education as well. My kids are my life, they are 12, 10 and 9. I am really busy most the time and in my down time instead of taking care of myself I have let me go...so now Im a plus size mom. Which I am going to change, though I do not have a desire to actually run in any actual races, I would love to be able to run. I have seen so many people do it and it looks very enjoyable. SO here I go, day 1 of my journey.
