I made a post on a separate forum but it went fantastic!! I enjoyed it so much and look forward to my next 5 k. For the record, I ran it in 32:39. I have NO idea how I did that. I know it's not fantastic but I have been timing myself on the treadmill and the fastest I got was 36:something. I was hoping to run it in 36, 40 at the most, so I'm super-excited! It must've been the Red Bull! emoticon

Thanks everyone for the encouragement!! If I can do it, anyone can!! emoticon

Good Luck with #1. Time is not important. Finishing is and it is a great feeling. If you feel like you have to walk do it. It is amazing what 50 or 100 feet of walking will do to reset your muscles. Have fun.

Hi guys! I started C25K about 3 months ago and "graduated" the program about 3 weeks ago. I am running my first 5k tomorrow night and I'm so nervous. I'm mainly doing it just to see if I can do it and am not concerned about time at this point.

I've heard from several seasoned runners that this is a tough course with an awful hill. Add to that the miserable heat and humidity in our area and it could be a recipe for disaster. Ugh, but I signed up and am ready to go! All I want to do is complete the course and not come in last.

Wish me luck!!
