Welcome to the team and to the commitment to become a runner! Way to go to both you and your brother! I actually started in early July last year with my sister and we have both been running ever since. :-)

I wish I could find it now, but there was a post earlier this week where Stina6584 included links to all of Karvy09's blogs about RWC (Running While Chunky). They are a great resource for us bigger runners. :) But at the very least you should be able to find them on Karvy's blog...she's one of our team's co-leaders so she is easy to find!

My sister also started running right about where you are, so it is possible and it can be done! She has to go a little slower, but she is doing it! :-)

Best wishes as you get started!

Congrats on your decision to start c25K. My biggest suggestion is to go slowly and listen to your body - it will tell you what you need to do.

Hello. My name is Michele. I'm from Ontario, Canada. I will be starting C25K in July with my brother. I had surgery and can't run until then. I am 280 lbs and my brother is 240 lbs. We started running in May by doing short 30 to 50 second jogs a few times during our 5K walks but we are ready to bump up the intensity. I'm super excited to get started and can't wait until July!!!

Anyone else around 280 lbs? Was it hard? Any advise? Thanks!
