Hi! I'm Zee. Just weighed in at 169 this morning! I've been in the 170s for the last year or so. I was 177 about 2 weeks ago, and the weight has just been dropping off! I lift weights 3-4x a week, I've been eating whole foods and high protein at around 1200-1600 calories a day and I commute an hour or two a day by bike.

Can't wait to get to the 150s. :)

Lost weight about three or four years ago. Then I got my job and the weight s-l-o-w-l-y gained it back over the last 3 years. I stayed in 160s for almost 2 years, so I think I mostly did pretty well. Then I started back into the 170s and that's where I started and I didn't want to go there! So, I'm working on losing my weight again. To keep my goals in front of me, I joined Leaving 170ville, Leaving 160ville, and Leaving 150ville. Everytime I open my team page, I see all three teams to motivate me. I've just barely gotten to the edge of 160ville, but keep fluctuating back, so until I'm here fully I'll keep going visiting back and forth. While I like the people there, I'm looking forward to leaving 170ville.

HI I'm Franny ..... SAHM of 2 boys.

Been on SPark for 7 mos. Hovering right now between 165 and 169 looking to get out of 160-ville, SOON! my goal is to be 145 by Halloween. I aim to do 30-60 mins of cardio a day but having a problem with my eating/drinking(sodas) right now. I think once I get those back on track I'll start to see things move again.

Hoping to only be here briefly - I tend not to go over 162, but it's been tough lately to be at that mark or below it. I've lived in the 150s most of the school year, but with the kids home, it's tougher to keep to the exercise routine (which includes an extra 30 minutes of walking daily to and from school). The intensity is not as much either (kids can't keep up when I turn it up). I'm not an early morning exerciser since my husband is up doing his routine and someone needs to watch the kiddos. I'm not an evening exerciser since it make my insomnia worse. I'm a drop the kids off at school and then have my "me" time to exercise---so summer is a challenge for me with them home. I'm back to assisting at soccer practice, so that's an extra bit of running around (but again, not quite the intensity I need to get back to 150-ville). Planning to be there in September, but keeping myself honest that I'm not there right now.

Hi Everyone,

I just stumbled across this group (I'm trying to become more active with SparkPeople groups - it's one of my new goals!). I've been stuck in 160ville for a while. I'm at 165.8 and I've been up and down the same pound for a few weeks now. I'm hoping to find the magic bullet and land in the 150s before too long!

Any hints for a plateau?? I'm being consistent, and I vary my exercise and intensity ALL THE TIME! I don't strength train as much as I should. I do Yoga once a week and occasionally lift weights. Maybe that's the way to go??

Nice to meet everyone! I'm looking forward to being here...but not too long ;)

I started out at 237, and have been hovering around 159-162 for the last three months. It seems no matter what I do I can't FULLY break that 160lb barrier. I don't consider myself in 150-ville because I just can't seem to remain there.
This whole experience started on Aug 21st of last year, and I would like to reach my goal of 137lbs by Aug 21st of this year.
I work out for 2 hours almost everyday, and am currently back on a no carb diet trying to jumpstart weight loss.
I think right now my biggest challenge is not letting the number on the scale get me down.

So I've unofficially been a resident of 160-ville for the last year. I was down in 150-ville last spring, got there through training for a sprint triathlon and logging my food religiously, however, after that I kind of loosened up on watching what I ate, and after race season my weight crept back up. I was so upset at myself for being in the 160s even through training for a half marathon last summer, but I know it was my fault. I used long runs as an excuse to treat myself with food. I know I can't do that. I just completed my second sprint tri a couple of weeks ago and have another coming up at the end of June and I'm determined to relocate to 150-ville. Here's hoping we all get there!

Hi Everyone! I was out of the 160-ville, but back here again. I have to really work hard to get out of the 160's and graduate to 150-ville. I know I can do it. I really want this time to be it! Would love to go on to 140-ville to 130-ville and finally to 120-ville (assuming there are these lower groups). Anyway, I'm taking it slow, steady and smart! I've found that through the last 12 years, I've struggled and went up and down with my weight and it's because I was not patient! If I was patient 12 years ago I would have actually lost the weight I gained from my pregnancy and lost all the weight within the first year after the birth of my first child. I just need to let go and look into the future so I'm taking it on day at a time!

Yea I am back!!!

My name is Charvonne (Chevy) I just turned 40 on March 16th and I am glad to be back. I got down all the way to 152 and through all the lessons learned out the window and 15 months later got up to 174.9 pounds...well this morning I weighed in at 168.7 and I am ecstatic.

I have quite left 170-ville - not until next week but wanted to check out the neighborhood.

So after an EIGHT MONTH stay in 170-ville, I am so, so, so happy to say I have FINALLY arrived in 160-ville! I have not been here since....1999? 2000? Man, a lot has changed in 10+ years!

Looking forward to moving ahead in my healthy living journey, and meeting new travelers along the way! I have no idea how long I'll linger here, but I'm going to make sure i take time to appreciate what it took to get here; all the hard work & determination. I'm not exactly a quick loser, but I'm finding that slow & steady seems to be working out alright. At least I'm to a point where I have fewer & fewer lapses (read: 5-7-9 lb gains! Man, glad I got off THAT roller coaster) so something must be sinking in!

Hi everyone! I finally made it to 160-ville!! I haven't been here in about 5 or 6 years! I am happy to be here- I no longer fall into the obese category and halfway to my final goal:)

I hope to be in 150-ville by the end of May or early June- I lose about 1lb a week, but this is ok as long as it keeps going down:)

Here I am back in 160-ville. I'm glad to be back, but I'm frustrated that I ever let myself gain back all the weight I had lost 4 years ago. But, at least I'm on my way again and the scale is going down which is nice.

My goal is to be out of here by May 18th, my son's 7th birthday. And even better if it is before that. :)

I joined SP on 1/2/11 and had 60 lbs to lose. As of today I had lost 21.3 lbs & am now under 40 lbs to go so I'm 1/3 of the way there. I didn't know about the 'ville' teams. I would have been on the 180ville when I joined but now I'm on the higher end of 160ville. Hoping it won't be a long stay! Tracking my food daily & working out as much as possible. I'm in Day 4 of a 30 day gym streak I started for myself because I'll be going on vacation after that & want to lose as much as possible before I go!

I was in 130 ville 2 yrs ago , now am starting all over again ---- lost 85 lbs and put 20 plus back -- hoping starting up with sparks again will help -- I see things have changed a little , my head seems to be there where I want to do this so far down 3 lbs in 2 wk -- it didn't come on over night and its not going to go away over night -- really wish it could

Good Evening Fellow Sparkers!!!! I'm in the upper 160's and I am sooooo ready to leave them behind! I feel like I'm stuck in a rut in the 160's bc I've been here for 2 years now. I'm needing some help, motivation, and support!

Hello all. I was down to 153 but I've gained again so back up to 162. I am starting Beachbody Insanity today. I know it will be hard but I really hope I can stick with it. I want to do some toning up also. I've come so far now and I really want to get to my goal weight by the summer.

Hi! I have also been stuck in 160-ville for years (almost 4), since I first injured my back. I've since started a new therapy (Active Release Technique) that really seems to be helping, and I'm now back at the gym and looking forward to waving good-bye to the 160's for good! The closest I have gotten is 161.5, weighed in at 163 this morning.

Good luck everyone, here's hoping we're not all team-mates for too long! LOL
