Weighing in daily helps me catch the ups quicker. I am posting on the weekly weigh in thread, so see you over there.

I am using a combination of TOPS Cut and Burn and the Gwen Shamblin Weigh Down.

Counting calories and tracking food was so disheartening for me. Although I do think using the food tracker is necessary from time to time to break plateaus.

What I do is portion control. If the scale is up due to an indulgence, I cut my portions in half for a couple days till it is down again. Then I go back to normal size portions. If I eat more healthy foods and less junk, then I can have normal size portions and lose weight. I'm striving for a life style change, not an obsession with numbers. So far it is slowly working.

Hi Tierra. I am new to the team and was feeling lonely. Glad the two of you have returned. I have not hit onederland in over 20 years. I was within five pounds about 16 years ago, but life interfered. I am growing up at age 57 and taking responsibility for what goes in my mouth. Come on over to the penthouse and we can fight our way to that first floor.

Still pacing the Penthouse. I did not weigh in today. I did decide to rejoin TOPS, so looking forward to that extra kick.

Challenges....Hmmm......Did you have something in mind? How about if we go to the weekly weigh in thread and weigh in every day good or bad?

Our leader sent out a message saying she could no longer be team leader, but she never removed her name. She is still posting. Maybe Barbie has some ideas.

Thanks for letting me bring the dogs. Hoping to donate two ten pound bowling balls that I have been packing around on my hips and belly for too long.

I'm Tracy aka Carrot143 and I decided now that I'm under 220 I am ready to join LEAVING 200-ville!!!!! My goal is to be under 200 by April of 2011. Now that I'm in my 40's the lbs don't come off very fast so this seems challenging yet doable. Well it has been a long time since I was in 200-ville but I am back for a short stay. I had lost 77lbs and was 8 lbs away from my goal weight when the wheels fell off my healthy living lifestyle. I am back now having gained back 50 lbs but I am determined to make sure that I head back in the right direction now. Trying to focus on the positive fact that I am still down 22 overall so its not all that bad, right? lol

I am at 208.5 as of this morning and hope to be out of 200-ville by December 5 2010. emoticon

Hello all! My name is Heather. I'm sitting at 209 right now. I'm hoping that with this program I'm doing, I will be in onederland soon, but one of the things with this program is that you burn fat and build lean muscle, so many people have seen that they lose dress sizes, but their weight doesn't change significantly. I lost 6 pounds the first week, but nothing the second. I'm in week 3, so we'll see what the scale says on Sunday. I'm trying to get away from letting the scale rule my idea of success and yes, my clothes are fitting better, but I can't believe that at 5'2", my body would be happy at 209. I guess I'll just keep working! emoticon

Good Morning all

I am officially BACK at 200ville. I am at 209 this morning. I plan on being in ONEDERLAND by Dec 31st.

I left 210ville this morning and don't plan on turning back, so I hope there is a room for me to get settled in this weekend and I don't have to sit in the lobby till Monday. LOL - But that would be ok too.

I am in Florida - I am up way early this morning and plan on going to the pool at dawn because I didn't get any cardio in yesturday other than a little walking at St Pete's Beach. I drove up there yesturday to a Seniorfriendfinder Bash. Fun Day!!

But I need to stay focused on ONEDERLAND. MA

I left the 200s once before ( my highest weight at the time was 204), now I'm back and I'm 214!!!

I see that no one has checked in for a while so I was hoping there is still a room available for me. My name is Kristine and I am trying so hard to get back into Onderland. I have said goodbye to the 240's, 230's, 220's and finally this week to the 210's as I hit 207.7 this morning at weigh in.
