Quitting smoking is one of those accomplishments that only someone who has done it can know what it means. Good for us. I'm at 3 years 1 month and 5 days.

Today is Day 105 for me. I was a pack a day smoker for 25 years and this is the first time that I have tried to quit that I think it might actually work. I have tried to quit a few times and it never seemed to stick. Something would happen and my instinct would be to go buy a pack of smokes. Even after my mother died of lung cancer I continued to smoke. I don't know why this time is different but it is. I am happy to find this forum on SparkPeople. Now I have a place to go if I am feeling weak. Thanks for being here.
