My fiance is 100% disabled and he gets all his medical care free when he broke his leg in may of this year the VA is still not paying for all the hospital, he had to have surgery , ortho etc.xray we keep appealing it and even the ambulance they wont pay so in the next few days I have a folder with bills they need to pay and i am going to the business and raise a stink. even a few years back he had a stroke and that is over 43,000 and they wotn pay them. so I hear you about trying to get your 100% I volunteer at the va picking up and dropping off patients for their appointments. so i hear alot about the va not wanting to pay the bills.
its sad, a few people I know went thru treatment at the v.a. and the doctor put them at a higher % so they can get more. as long as you can get a doctor to give you a higher% of disablility it works to your goal of receiving 100%.
it may take a while but dont give up. good luck to all. take care

I'll introduce myself. I did 10+ years in the navy before my joint pain and weight got the best of me and I was not allowed to re-enlist. Shortly, who am I kidding 7 months later I was found to be 30% disabled by the VA. I am looking forward to working with my fellow veterans, and especially those with disabled status work through our challenges and lose some weight.

For want of a nail, the shoe was lost.
For want of the shoe, the horse was lost.
For want of the horse, the rider was lost.
For want of the rider, the battle was lost.
For want of the battle, the kingdom was lost.
And all for the want of a horseshoe nail!
