Hello, Summit...Good on you! It sounds like you're doing the things you need to do.

I'm here, but at the present time I'm only holding on. Too much other stuff is getting in the way of doing serious training. But I'm here because I do want to do what you're doing - lose the weight and build up the strength and get back outdoors.

Hello, I joined a few weeks ago, but have been holding myself back from interacting with anyone else on the site because I wanted to make sure that I was really ready to commit to this journey this time. Well, today is day 5 on track with my eating and day 3 of early morning workouts. I think I am finally ready to commit to a healthy lifestyle and stick to it!! I ultimately need to loose about 100 pounds. I also want to take up running and complete an Appalachian Trail thru-hike before I turn 30. Running and backpacking were things I really enjoyed before I gained the weight and I want to get back to them.
